Tinubu will win convincingly in 2027 — Akwa Ibom Ambassadors

The Akwa Ibom State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Obong Prince Ikim, has expressed strong confidence in the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, describing his victory as certain and convincing.

Speaking with select media professionals in Uyo over the weekend, Ikim said the administration of President Tinubu has laid a solid foundation for economic recovery, institutional reforms, and sustainable development across the country.

He noted that within a short period in office, the President has demonstrated courage in addressing long standing structural challenges in the Nigerian economy, particularly in fuel subsidy reforms, revenue mobilisation, and fiscal discipline.

According to him, these policies, though initially difficult, are already yielding measurable results in stabilising public finance and attracting domestic and foreign investments.

Ikim stated that Akwa Ibom State has benefited through improved revenue allocation and some strategic federal interventions that will recalibrate the state development and economic outlook.

He added that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in the state have intensified grassroots mobilisation, political education, and voter engagement to ensure that citizens fully understand the achievements of the present administration.

“Our responsibility is to take facts to the people, not propaganda,” he said. “When Nigerians assess performance objectively, they will choose continuity in 2027.”

He emphasised that the growing alignment of political leaders, traditional institutions, youth groups, and professional associations around the Renewed Hope Agenda reflects increasing public trust in the President’s leadership.

According to him, recent political realignments in Akwa Ibom State and across the South South region have further strengthened the ruling party’s structure ahead of the next election.

He maintained that the All Progressives Congress is better organised, more inclusive, and more responsive to public concerns than ever before.

Ikim also called on party members and supporters to remain focused, disciplined, and issue driven in their campaigns.

He warned against complacency, internal divisions, and negative campaigning, stressing that victory in 2027 would depend on sustained engagement with citizens and consistent delivery of good governance.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to promoting peace, democratic values, and responsible political participation throughout the electoral process.

“As ambassadors of progress, we will continue to defend policies that strengthen the economy, protect national unity, and expand opportunities for all Nigerians,” he said.

He concluded by urging voters in Akwa Ibom State and beyond to support President Tinubu’s second term bid in order to consolidate ongoing reforms and secure long term national development.

With growing political momentum, expanding grassroots networks, and visible policy outcomes, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors believe that President Tinubu is well positioned to record a decisive victory in 2027.
